Phases Counseling services is a small, woman owned practice in Ozark, Alabama that provides counseling services to the Wiregrass Area.
At Phases Counseling Services, we're here to support you on your mental health journey with understanding and care. Our team is passionate about connecting people with the resources they need to foster well-being and growth.
We strive to ensure that each of our clients feels safe, seen, and heard each session. Phases Counseling services is a Neuro-affirming and Ally supportive practice.
Ashton Pattberg is an Alabama native who has resided in Southeast Alabama since 2010. Ashton earned her master’s in counseling and psychology in 2018 from Troy University. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from Troy University in 2012.
Ashton approaches counseling from a lifestyle perspective that encompasses various aspects of a client’s life that can affect their mental and physical health. She also believes that each person is the author of their story and has the ability to rewrite their narratives and empower themselves. She utilizes different therapeutic approaches to assist her clients with navigating their path and building a solid foundation to grow from.
She has experience working in outpatient, educational, and private practice settings. Ashton has assisted clients with ADHD, Autism, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Trauma. She currently specializes in working with individuals who have been diagnosed with ADHD. She believes in providing a neuro-affirming space for her clients to explore and learn more about their neurodivergence. She is an advocate for neurodivergent individuals as well as a proud Ally of the LGBTQ+ community.
In her free time, Ashton enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, as well as camping, playing music, practicing Taekwondo, and reading. She also enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons and Magic The Gathering with family and friends.

Michael Dreilinger is an Enterprise native and alumnus of Enterprise High School. He earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from Troy University in 2018, followed by a certificate in sports psychology from California Southern University in 2020. He later completed his master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling at Troy University in 2024.He is currently an ALC under the direct supervision of Jennie Holmes, LPC-S (#SC01065)
Michael approaches counseling with a neuro-affirming perspective and emphasizes the connection between physical, emotional, and mental health. He often incorporates the tenets of Taekwondo—courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit—into his practice, encouraging clients to apply these principles in their daily lives as part of building overall wellness.
He has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating ADHD, Autism, anxiety, depression, sports performance issues, and trauma. Michael is also an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and strives to provide a supportive and affirming environment for his clients.
Outside of counseling, Michael serves as the chief instructor of the Enterprise YMCA Taekwondo School, where he holds a 5th-degree black belt. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée, family, and friends, especially while playing tabletop role-playing games or Magic: The Gathering.
